How to thin out seedlings

I like to plant 3 seeds in my ¾ of a gallon pots for seed starting. I do this because invariably you will have some seeds that don’t germinate, and I like to pick the strongest seed to take care of all the way to harvest. Seed is inexpensive but your time and garden space is not. I think it is good practice to only use the strongest seedlings. Below is a picture of some cauliflower and broccoli that will be planted out in a couple of weeks. I pinched off the weaker seedlings to allow the strong plant to occupy the space as it grows.
